YARMOUTH, Maine—Security Systems News is excited to announce that national award-winning reporter, Lilly Chapa, will be contributing articles to the publication starting with the March issue.
“We here at SSN are really excited to have a writer of Lilly's caliber contributing articles to the publication,” SSN Editor Paul Ragusa said. “Her journalistic instincts and insights are spot on, evidenced by the numerous awards she has won over the years writing about security-related topics. With her industry experience and reporting savvy, I really feel lucky to have her writing for us.”
Chapa previously wrote for Security Management, ASIS International's monthly publication and website, where she covered homeland security, as well as a multitude of other security-related topics of national interest.
"I am thrilled at the opportunity to contribute editorial content to Security Systems News and expand my coverage of the security industry,” Chapa said. “SSN's broad coverage of all things security is valuable to the industry, and I look forward to being a part of that."
Chapa will be writing about a wide-range of topics for SSN, so keep an eye out for her first article in March. She joins newly hired Managing Editor Ginger Schlueter, who joined the publication in December, as another bright new face at SSN.
