LAKE FOREST, Calif.—Keyless entry deadbolts from Baldwin can now be integrated with Crestron control systems, the companies announced recently.
Baldwin Keyless Entry deadbolts with Home Connect can receive commands or communicate with other devices using Crestron's infiNET EX wireless systems, so homeowners can control locks using a touchscreen, mobile device or remote access, according to the news release.
“In conjunction with our control systems, the Baldwin locks provide homeowners with a powerful home automation solution,” said Steve Samson, business development director of Crestron, in a prepared statement.
The integrated system will allow users to set schedules and personalize access; for example, the system can turn lights on when a door is unlocked.
