HOUSTON—Keith Drummond has been named executive vice president of sales at Behavioral Recognition Systems, also known as BRS Labs, the company announced Dec. 10.
Drummond will focus on growing sales revenue for the company, which creates software that learns and alerts on behavior. “BRS Labs is an exceptional company, and our AlSight platform has become the de facto standard for real-time enhanced video surveillance,” said Drummond, in a prepared statement. “I look forward to continuing our dominance in that area, as well as building the team that will help us grow into other multi-sensor applications, including SCADA, network security and other natural markets for our core technology.”
Most recently CEO of Iron Sky, a provider of video surveillance software solutions for law enforcement, Drummond has spent two decades in the technology industry, according to the release. He previously was CEO of LenSec, provider of video surveillance solutions for K-12 education.
“We're very excited to have someone of Keith's caliber on board with experience in both the safety and security industry, as well as the expertise to help us expand into these new markets,” said Ray Davis, BRS Labs CEO, in a prepared statement. “One of our goals from the outset was to deliver the benefits of our reason-based recognition and analytic capabilities to a broad range of solutions. That time is now, and Keith's team will be a central part of our ongoing success.”
BRS Labs is developing a behavioral analytic solution to bolster SCADA systems, and plans multisensory capabilities in structured and unstructured sensor data, according to the release.
