Bright House Networks Home Security & Control is a next generation system that puts customers in charge of their home security and comfort no matter where they are - at home, at the office or on the go.
With the power of iControl's platform, the cable company offers centrally monitored and self-managed security, as well as energy, light and home appliance management via an in-home touchscreen, the web and smart phones. The alert feature enables users to customize their systems to send instant text or email notifications when the kids have returned home safely after school, or if there is suspicious behavior around the home. Users can even receive live or recorded video of their homes.
Acting as the hub of the Home Security & Control system is an advanced, easy-to-use, interactive touchscreen powered by iControl. In addition to creating and monitoring system settings, users can do such things as check the news and weather and watch live and recorded video feeds of home activity.
