January 13, 2005 VIENNA, Va. - The Central Station Alarm Association announced plans to conduct an abbreviated version of its compensation, benefits and incentive practices survey. The survey, which will conclude at the end of February, will be distributed through the Accent listserver and the association's web site. Salaries and benefits of central station managers to supervisors and operators will be collected in the survey. Accent, which was developed by the CSAA and the Security Industry Association, is an acronym for alarm call center education, networking and training and is a forum that discusses industry-related issues. The results will be e-mailed for free to those who participate, and those who do not participate will be able to attain the results for a fee. CSAA’s will present the findings of the survey at its North American Security Symposium & Exhibition meeting in Montreal in May.
