Dan Hughes promoted to president of Windy City Wire

BOLINGBROOK, Ill. – Windy City Wire has announced the promotion of Dan Hughes to the position of president, effective immediately.

Windy City Wire said that Hughes, who has been an integral part of the company since joining right after graduating from North Central College in 2001, will continue to play a pivotal role in its growth and success.

In his new role as president, Dan will report directly to Windy City Wire CEO Rich Galgano. The company noted that Hughes' appointment to president is a key component of their strategic growth plan, and that his journey with the company highlights his unwavering dedication, exceptional skill, and visionary leadership.

“Since his start in June 2001, Dan has consistently been a major driving force in the company, introducing innovative strategies and ideas that have significantly contributed to our success. His profound understanding of the market and his remarkable ability to nurture strong relationships with clients and partners have been crucial in expanding our market presence and enhancing our service offerings,” Windy City Wire wrote in their release.

Dan resides in Naperville, Ill., with his family. Post-graduation in 2001, he started his career at Windy City Wire as an inside salesperson. He progressed to national sales manager in 2008, overseeing significant team growth, and assumed management of the entire sales team in 2014. He said that he finds immense pleasure in mentoring the sales team and revels in seeing others grow and succeed. Outside of work, Dan is a dedicated family man and an enthusiast of local high school and college sports.
