DSI Security Services appoints William Morris as general counsel

DOTHAN, Ala. — DSI Security Services has announced the appointment of William Morris to serve as its general counsel.
With an extensive background in law and a dedication to excellence, DSI stated that Morris brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his new role.

In his time at the University of Alabama School of Law, Morris reportedly demonstrated a commitment to public service. He served as a law clerk for the Alabama Attorney General’s Office in the General Civil Division, gaining valuable experience in various legal matters. Additionally, he provided free legal representation to underserved communities through the law school’s Civil Clinic in Tuscaloosa.
Upon passing the bar, Morris joined the esteemed law firm of Morris, Andrews, Talmadge & Driggers, LLC, where he worked as an associate attorney. In this role, he handled a diverse range of cases, including premises liability cases, workers’ compensation claims, and general negligence cases. His dedication to his clients and legal acumen earned him respect within the legal community.
Morris is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Alabama, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and Georgia. He is an active member of the Houston County Bar Association and the Alabama Bar Association.
In his new role as General Counsel at DSI Security Services, Morris will use his expertise on legal matters affecting the company. DSI noted that his experience with civil law makes him an invaluable addition to its team.
