DVS appoints Santamorena, DeGeorge

NORTH HAVEN, Conn.--Ducibella Venter & Santore (DVS) on Feb. 1 announced the appointment of Frank Santamorena, PSP, as principal, with primary responsibility for the business development activities of the firm.
In his 20+ years of security industry experience, Santamorena has designed or managed over 1000 security and life safety system projects for clients including federal, state and local government, and Fortune 500 companies. Santamorena was the security expert and advisor on the Discovery Channel series "It Takes a Thief," where he conducted security site surveys, performed threat and risk assessments, and evolved solutions for real-life situations in 80 episodes.
He is past chairman of the ASIS Mid-Hudson (NY) Chapter.
The company also announced John DeGeorge, CPP, PSP, has joined as principal and vice president of consulting, effective January 1, 2011.
DeGeorge brings over 30 years of security industry experience to DVS, where he will assume the lead management role on critical company projects, including several at the World Trade Center in New York City.
Prior to joining DVS, DeGeorge was managing director of Global Technical Security at NYSE Euronext, where he provided global management for technical and physical mitigation strategies.
DVS, established in 1964, is one of the oldest and most trusted security consulting & engineering firms in the United States.
