Emerging Leaders Under 40: Natalie Bracamontez, VP, marketing and customer engagement, Brinks Home

YARMOUTH, Maine—Natalie Bracamontez, 33, is the VP of marketing and customer engagement for Brinks Home, based out of Dallas. SSN: In 100 words or less, summarize your current role, outlining responsibilities and length of service.

Emerging Leaders Under 40BRACAMONTEZ: I began my security career in customer and retention marketing at Brinks Home in 2018 where I was instrumental in building a customer lifecycle management program from the ground up. I grew this innovative, retention-focused team from just myself, to a team of five. As vice president of marketing & customer engagement, I now lead a team of 11 and oversee Brinks Home’s acquisition marketing, customer engagement, retention marketing, and brand. My team focuses on digital marketing and growth tactics to support the direct-to-consumer sales channel, increase brand awareness, and decrease disconnects through customer retention marketing.

SSN: In 100 words or less, share what attracts you to the security industry as a young leader.

BRACAMONTEZ: The security industry is an evolving landscape, and Brinks Home is a complex business. What attracts me about the security industry is that there is always a new problem or challenge to be solved. Whether we as marketers are developing a strategy to acquire new customers with various competitors entering the professional monitoring and installation space, ideating on how we are going to retain customers during a challenging economic time, optimizing process or efficiency improvements internally, etc. - there is always something to be solved.

SSN: In 100 words or less, describe the significance of being recognized as an SSN Emerging Leader Under 40 winner.

BRACAMONTEZ: When I joined Brinks Home in 2018, there was hesitation across the security industry at the time to communicate and remind customers what they were paying for to avoid “poking the bear.” Showing the worth of customer and retention marketing by disproving negative assumptions through data and demonstrating the importance of personalization and communication in the customer journey has not only allowed me to scale the team up, but also increase the financial investments in our marketing.

Through the success on the existing customer side, over the years, I have been given the opportunity to propel my career from a manager in 2018 to a vice president in 2024. I love that in my role, I have not only been given the ability to grow a team from the ground up, but also given the opportunity to mentor a team to also be successful in their roles of engaging in our company vision of driving profitable accounts and retaining customers for life.
