ATLANTA — Flock Safety and ForceMetrics have announced a strategic partnership that will allow law enforcement officers to seamlessly work across both platforms and highlight insights in real-time to solve crime, improve outcomes and increase safety, the companies say.
The integrated solution combines Flock Safety’s real-time response, evidencec ollection and investigative tools with ForceMetrics’ data integration, analysis and user experience.
With the recent shooting at Antioch High School in Tennessee fresh in memory, Security Systems News (SSN) reached out to Flock Safety to ask about the importance of the rollout of the integrated solution.
“During devastating events like a school shooting, first responders must prioritize speed,” said Flock Safety CTO Davis Lukens. “However, going in with incomplete information can hamper the response and put both officers and civilians in increased danger. The combined power of ForceMetrics' decision-assist platform and the situational awareness intelligence provided by Flock Safety's platform will allow officers to move more quickly, with a full picture of the scene before they even walk through the doors. More context and awareness mean more lives saved.”
ForceMetrics was founded by veteran FBI special agents and law enforcement officers, with the goal of delivering life-saving context to 911 calls by seamlessly consolidating public agency data.
The companies say the integrated solution will be available to law enforcement agencies later this year.
“Seconds matter when lives are at stake,” said Andre McGregor, founder and CEO of ForceMetrics. “ForceMetrics has enabled patrol officers and dispatchers to identify school shooters, find missing kids and provide victim assistance in the moment. Layering ForceMetrics’ real-time insights with Flock’s cutting-edge tools creates a revolutionary leap for modern policing. This partnership empowers law enforcement agencies with unprecedented capabilities to respond smarter and faster, ensuring the safety of officers and the communities they serve.”
Commander Todd Brown of Castle Rock Police in Colorado agrees, noting that "Many people don’t realize how crucial real-time data is for creating safer environments and saving lives.”
