Former White House CSO joins PSIM provider

VidSys, a provider of PSIM solutions, has named John Gill, a former White House chief security officer, its vice president of business development, according to a company statement.
Gill, who served as White House CSO during the George Bush and Barack Obama administrations, has more than 30 years of experience in domestic and international security, law enforcement, intelligence and private sector contracting.
“John's extensive experience in both the public and private sectors give him intimate knowledge and understanding of the security challenges organizations worldwide face on a regular basis,” Michael Jackson, CEO of VidSys, said in a statement. “His broad security background will help us continue to deliver the type of technology required to manage today's complex threat ecosystem.”
Gill is a member of the American Society for Industrial Security, the International Association of Chiefs of Police, and the Association of Former Agents of the US Secret Service.
