Go West, Young Man

This is it, we’re only one week away from ISC West, and if you’re reading this, then - like me - you’re just counting the days.
My itinerary and show schedule are set and let me tell you it is packed full! Editor Cory Harris told me to make sure that I had a good pair of shoes for walking the floor and I had the good fortune to order a brand-new pair this week. They’re scheduled to get here Friday…I hope.
Either way me and whatever kicks I’m sporting will be there starting on Tuesday meeting with the best people and products the security industry has to offer. I’ll be posting stories from the show floor in the evenings for those of you who might not be attending this year. For everyone who is I hope to see you there! Odds are if you’ve got a booth at the show, I’m probably scheduled to meet with you.
Speaking of coverage, take a peek at the Security Systems News Newswire next week. Editor Cory and I will be doing special blogs interviewing speakers from different panels at ISC West. I’ll be chatting with PSLA Vice President Gary Hoffner about his presentation for “Increasing Cyber Awareness for Security Integrators,” a topic I’m sure we can all relate to lately.
With that, I’ll check in next week from ISC West.
