Guardian to hold sales contest

WARRENDALE, Pa.—Guardian Protection Services, based here, announced a $25,000 sales contest for dealers, according to a press release.

Guardian is offering each dealer who meets the baseline requirements entry into a drawing. A winner will be drawn at the 2014 Guardian Protection Services Authorized Dealer convention.

Hank Groff, director of dealer recruitment and development at Guardian, stated in the release that the company launched the contest for two reasons: “The incentive keeps existing dealers motivated, and because everyone has a chance to win. The contest isn't just restricted to dealers who product the highest volume—the prerequisites of this contest are quality-based.”

Participants in the contest, which began this year on Jan. 1, and runs through Dec. 31, need only be active in Guardian's dealer program for at least three months of the contest period to quality.

The cash giveaway contest is based on qualitative criteria. A ticket for the drawing is awarded for each increase from the baseline average of the following five categories: average sales price, average credit score, average monitoring rate, average cell percentage, and one year chargeback percentage.

“Our focus is not just to help dealers make money in the short term,” Russ Cersosimo, CEO of Guardian, said in a prepared statement. “We also assist them in building long-term value utilizing the knowledge we have as a full sales and operations company.”
