HENDERSON, Nev.—I-View Now, a provider of video verification services based here, announced a number of new integrations including one with ipDatatel.
“IpDatatel is an interesting piece for us,” Larry Folsom, president of I-View Now told Security Systems News. As part of this, “more and more what you'll see is that I-View Now will connect to signal processing devices to leverage our video connectivity.”
This integration will include products from ipDatatel's line of Home Area Network products, which Folsom said will be released this month.
Additionally, I-View Now released on Feb. 6 an integration with Milestone's video management software, XProtect Corporate and XProtect Enterprise.
The integration with SafeZone-edge, analytics provided by Digital Barriers, also was made available. The analytics currently is available on compatible AXIS cameras and encoders, I-View Now said.
This gives I-View Now the ability to “not only process the video, the clip and the live view like we traditionally do, but we can take the analytic that's running on that camera and receive it as an alarm signal, as an additional zone to a security system.
An integration with Avigilon's Rialto A4 encoder was also announced. “We think that encoder is pretty exciting,” said Folsom, because this encoder will “unify different signals and video in our platform.”
The first FLIR integration, with FLIR DNR500 Series NVRs, was also released on Feb. 6. Folsom said there will be more FLIR integrations coming soon.
Folsom also talked about the upcoming year; “I think its an interesting time, where standards are coming together, products are making it easier to provide this service. I think 2015 is this year where video verification makes people safer.”
