Johnson Controls acquires UK-based Vindex Systems

LONDON—Johnson Controls, a provider of systems and digital solutions for smart, healthy, and sustainable buildings, has announced the acquisition of Vindex Systems, a UK-based systems integrator delivering intelligent business protection solutions.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

According to Johnson Controls, the acquisition reinforces the company’s “technical expertise, delivering system planning, design, implementation, installation, support and maintenance for a range of complex security requirements, and further strengthens Johnson Controls’ capabilities involving electronic security.”

Vindex Systems harnesses the latest technologies to support a range of high-profile UK customers, delivering turnkey security solutions, including system planning and design through to implementation, installation, support, and maintenance.

In addition, by delivering access control, CCTV, and ANPR (automatic number plate recognition), Vindex Systems utilizes the latest technologies to support a range of high-profile UK customers across the banking, retail, healthcare, aerospace, and commercial property sectors.
