CARLSBAD, Calif.—Linear is recalling some PERS transmitters after a report that one transmitter failed to operate, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced this week.
The transmitters' battery clips can corrode, leaving the device inoperable without warning, according to a news release. No injuries have been reported.
Models DXS-LRC, DXS-LRC-LA, DXS-LRP and DXS-LRW, manufactured between June and July 2013, with the date codes 1306, 1307 and 1329 are included in the recall.
The CPSC is seeking incident or injury reports online at SaferProducts.gov.
