DALLAS—U.S. Army veteran Marcus Pierre has been tapped to head the new Dallas office of Crescent Guardian, a security integration firm that also offers guard services, the company announced Nov. 12.
Pierre is the new COO of the national security firm, which has expanded into Dallas in response to growing security needs, according to the release.
“Marcus brings a unique blend of firsthand experience and insight that no amount of security training can provide,” said Ray Cavanaugh, Crescent VP, in a prepared statement. “With rising demand for more security nationally, it was imperative we reinforce our staff with someone of his caliber and reputation to ensure our clients get the absolute best solutions and protection.”
Crescent offers security assessments and says it chose Pierre to help the company protect clients against traditional threats—vandalism and theft—as well as others, like terrorism and mass shootings.
Pierre has 20 years experience in private security, security consulting and the military. He served in Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom and is pursuing an MBA.
