NEW YORK—Mission 500 and Moms in Security Global Outreach (MISGO) are joining forces again to raise funds for two great causes as the second annual cornhole tournament takes place on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2023, from 2:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. ET at Kirkbride Hall, 5 Patriot Hills Lane in Stony Point, N.Y.
The tournament promotes team building while bringing much attention to Mission 500’s cause of helping underprivileged children and families in need across the U.S. In addition, the event brings awareness to MISGO’s mission of rescuing children and young adults who are victims of human trafficking.
The inaugural event on Dec. 11, 2021, raised more than $19,000 total for the two organizations, and both Mission 500 and Moms in Security Global Outreach are looking forward to another successful cornhole fundraiser.
“Mission 500 is proud to team up with Moms in Security to bring back our cornhole tournament this year, and we look forward to the fun rivalry and interesting team names,” said Janet Fenner, Mission 500 board member and president of Defined Marketing. “It’s always great seeing our industry coming together to help children in need.”
“Moms in Security is very much looking forward to the second annual cornhole event,” added Elisa Mula, founder of Moms in Security Global Outreach and president of EM Designs (EMD). “Last year was so much fun, and it was so good to be around people who support the safety and well-being of children. What a fun way to collaborate and build up our community.”
