Mountain Secure Systems provides wireless radios to Denver Public Works

LONGMONT, Colo.—Mountain Secure Systems, a supplier of outdoor wireless network solutions, announced on Oct. 22 that it will provide additional 900 MHz wireless network radios to the Denver Public Works Traffic Engineering Services.
The wireless radios will help expand coverage for the city's traffic control system. The Summit Series network radios provide coverage for point-to-point, point-to-multipoint and wireless mesh networks in the 2.4 and 5.8 GHz unlicensed frequency bands, as well as the licensed 4.9 GHz public safety band. The radios include FIPS 140-2 validation, which provides end-to-end encryption.
“Mountain Secure Systems is proud to continue doing business with Denver Public Works,” Ken Dickson, general manager of Mountain Secure Systems, said in a prepared statement. “Our Summit Series wireless network radios have a track record of success, giving our customers peace of mind when it comes time to expand coverage.”
Mountain Secure Systems also provides wireless network radios to the Chicago Police Department.
