WARRENDALE, Pa.—Barry Bruce, recently hired as senior vice president at Guardian Protection Services, will be responsible for leading a multi-dimensional inside sales center at the company, according to a Guardian statement.
A veteran of the security industry, including 12 years at Brink's Home Security, Bruce will oversee the design, development and implementation of a comprehensive plan to improve Guardian's ability to market new products and services to new and existing customers, the statement said.
The marketing of products that leverage emerging technology will be one of Bruce's primary objectives.
“One of my goals is to expand Guardian's footprint in all divisions by adding new dealers, builder partners, residential partners and national accounts,” Bruce said in the statement. “I also believe we have opportunities to become even more efficient turning prospects into Guardian customers in all lines of business.”
In the weeks since Bruce was hired, he has been able to assess Guardian's business standard and operations. Of the company's marketing objectives, Bruce said, “What we need to work on is expanding the brand so people everywhere know who we are.”
