PEARL RIVER, N.Y.—OnSSI, a provider of video management software, has doubled the size of its research and development facility, based here, according to a company statement. The expansion is a result of the company's growth, coupled with its emphasis on the continued development of Ocularis, its video management software system.
“By substantially increasing our overall investment in R&D for 2013 and 2014, we are ideally positioned to meet users' future needs and ensure our continued growth,” Gadi Piran, president and CTO, said in the statement.
Darien Ford, who will head the expanded New York facility, added, “OnSSI is firmly committed to the future development of Ocularis and new solutions that will drive further innovation, and we've set high expectations that are bound to set new benchmarks in technology as we continue to expand our R&D operations.”
In October 2012, OnSSI's Ocularis video management software provided surveillance security for the final presidential debate, held at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Fla.
