FORT WORTH, Texas—ESX on May 3 announced that speakers from Qualcomm, ADT and August will be the panelists for its OpenXchange Breakfast, which will take place here on June 8.
“The OpenXchange forum provides an excellent opportunity for decision makers and influencers to expand their horizons and understand where the industry may be heading, and how best to update their business playbooks and compete at the next level,” George De Marco, ESX chairman, said in a prepared statement. “We are thrilled to bring these panelists to the main stage to share their wealth of knowledge and experience with those in attendance.”
The three panelists will be Tim Colleran, director of business development for Qualcomm, Steve Shapiro, vice president of business products and industry relations for ADT, and Nate Williams, chief revenue officer for August, a provider of connected home products, specifically smart lock technologies. De Marco will moderate the session.
Colleran focuses on emerging applications in the home automation and home security segments at Qualcomm. He previously held the CEO and VP level roles at ZeroG Wireless, an early IoT Wi-Fi company.
Shapiro is responsible for executing and managing ADT's small business and commercial product offerings. He manages relationships with North American security and automation industry organizations, alliances and initiatives, including the CSAA, SIA and the Z-Wave alliance. Prior to assuming this role, Shapiro led ADT's product strategy and engineering initiatives.
August's Williams has more than 15 years' experience as a technology executive, entrepreneur, and executive advisor in marketing, product and business development, and corporate finance.
