FARMERS BRANCH, Texas—Tom Galvin, CEO of Razberi Technologies, a supplier of network video solutions, said his company only missed two days in production when it moved to a bigger headquarters here.
“It was really important for us, as we grew our business, to be able to scale the assembly and manufacturing capacity of our company. And the new facility allows us to do that,” Galvin told Security Systems News.
“In addition to the new facility, we've made upgrades to our production line, we've significantly added headcount in operation, we've added more QA control and processes,” he said.
This headquarters is three times the size of its previous facility in Carrollton, about a mile away. This greatly expanded Razberi's assembly space, which was “really where we were constrained in our previous facility,” he said.
Razberi in November received a $3 million investment from LiveOak Venture Partners. “We would have done the headquarters anyway, without the investment,” Galvin said. “But, where the investment has helped us is really building out our sales team.”
This capital will be used for future product development, increasing production and manufacturing, he said.
This will be the first year that Razberi will have its own booth at ISC West. Previously Razberi only exhibited with its partners.
Galvin expects Razberi to see continued growth in 2015 and plans to expand operations into Europe.
