LAS VEGAS — Axis Communications, during ISC West, highlighted integral partners like Eagle Eye Networks, SecuriThings and Wesco using its Cloud Connect platform to develop new innovations like VMS integrations, video analytics enhancements, device lifecycle management and data aggregation.
Axis also said that early adopters of Cloud Connect - such as Genetec and Kone - continue to leverage the platform, further showcasing its ability to empower solutions across a wide range of use cases in various industries.
And most recently, long-time partner Milestone Systems announced plans for video management integration with the Axis cloud platform.
“It’s at the heart of, the DNA of, what Milestone stands for,” said Tim Palmquist, VP Americas Region, at Milestone Systems. “When we say open platform, we’re talking about how the end customer should have access to the newest innovation as soon as possible no matter where it comes from. And those products should be made in a way that they can work together so that customers can leverage that innovation across manufacturers. So, Axis being a great partner of ours, we have the Axis Optimizer feature, which is a strong feature set for their edge devices—features that we don’t make natively but they have added into XProtect to support all their unique features that’s not being delivered through our product.”
Axis Cloud Connect, which launched at ISC West in 2024, has proven to be a transformative platform for the company and its partners, said Fredrik Nilsson, VP, Americas, Axis Communications. The open, cloud-based platform was designed to deliver secure, flexible and scalable solutions. It also integrates seamlessly with Axis devices, enabling managed services that support system and device management, video and data delivery, and robust cybersecurity.
“Over the past year, Axis Cloud Connect has helped transform the way security, business intelligence and operational solutions are deployed, utilized and managed,” said Nilsson. “The progress made by our partners is a testament to the power of openness and collaboration, and the immense potential of Axis Cloud Connect to shape the future of security and IoT.”
