RIDGEFIELD PARK, N.J.—A newly released Samsung Techwin camera offers wide, high-definition images for surveillance, the company announced Dec. 3.
The SNG-7010 360-degree megapixel camera works in varying light conditions, dewarps panoramic images and allows wide or close-up views with little distortion, according to a release.
It streams video that can be captured or recorded. The device's images can be displayed in a variety of fashions, according to the release.
“Samsung's new SNF-7010 360 degree megapixel camera delivers exceptional performance at a competitive price point, which results in lower total cost of ownership and higher return on investment,” said Frank De Fina, senior VP of sales and marketing, North America, in a prepared statement. “Its ability to provide HD quality panoramic coverage in virtually any lighting condition improves situational awareness while doing the work of up to four cameras and effectively lowering costs.”
The cameras are available for indoor or outdoor use.
