LONGWOOD, Fla.—SecureNet's new SecureNet Platform offers cloud-based, on-demand management for central monitoring stations, the company announced Oct. 16.
The hosted solution makes alarm responses faster and more accurate, by streamlining dispatchers' decision making and eliminating errors that can result from notes-based systems, according to the news release.
“The SecureNet Platform both simplifies and augments the capabilities of central monitoring stations by allowing for new, rules-based, process-driven decision making,” said Andrew Wilson, SecureNet CEO, in a prepared statement. “In times of need, such as a natural disaster or other emergency, the platform can provide unbroken redundancy for all mission-critical monitoring functions, so service providers scale instantly and invisibly to meet the needs of the hour.”
Using a cloud-based service keeps stations up to date without the expense of continual updating, SecureNet says. Alarm service providers can use a web-based portal for real-time account creation, data entry and billing, according to the release.
SecureNet Platform can be used with existing hardware and software systems, or with the SecureNet Interactive Gateway modules.
