Security Systems News opens nominations for “Emerging Leaders Under 40”

YARMOUTH, Maine—For more than a decade, Security Systems News has put the next generation of leaders within the security industry in the spotlight with an annual award and we're excited to announce it will now be known as “Emerging Leaders Under 40,” beginning with the Class of 2024.

We have evolved from “20 under 40” to “40 under 40," and we're extremely excited to launch this new awards program, which highlights those security professionals who have emerged as leaders by making an indelible mark on the companies they work for.

Each year, our award winners are made up of a diverse and talented group of young professionals featuring a stellar mix of security systems integrators, consultants, dealers, and monitoring professionals, as well as end users and other industry professionals. 

While we have been very proud to select our annual winners and highlighting their achievements in the pages of our publication, as well as publishing our inaugural “40 under 40” yearbook in July 2023, we decided it was time to rebrand our annual awards.

In selecting the Class of 2024, we’ll be looking for leaders who have proven themselves to be self-motivated, team-oriented creative thinkers who have shown leadership competencies by engaging in the vision of their organization and making that vision meaningful for their colleagues.

As we have done in the past, you may wish to nominate a colleague, or choose to nominate yourself as an emerging leader under 40. Our first-ever “Emerging Leaders Under 40” Class of 2024 will be announced in early December and will be featured in our Class of 2024 digital yearbook coming out next year!
