Stanley launches $500,000 school safety grant program

INDIANAPOLIS—Through its Together for Safer Schools competitive grant program, Stanley Security is offering funding to help schools to obtain security products and services, the company announced in a Sept. 12 news release.
“Our trusted Stanley Security advisors know that each school or district has its own unique security needs and, through this exciting grant opportunity, our experts can help to find the right mix of comprehensive solutions to meet any challenges a school may face,” said Marty Guay, vice president of sales, Stanley Convergent Security Solutions.
The winners may receive products including classroom locks, traditional or audio intrusion systems, video surveillance, access-control systems.
Nominations are open until Oct. 28. Beginning Nov. 5, administration, staff, students and community members can vote online or by text message—votes will be tallied Dec. 13. The school with the most votes will receive $200,00 in Stanley products and services, while three runners up will each receive $100,000 in products and services.
