Vector Security announces scholarship winners

PITTSBURGH—Vector Security, a provider of security solutions based here, has announced the winners of its Loss Prevention Foundation (LPF) scholarships, according to a company statement.
The LPF is a nonprofit organization that educates and certifies retail loss prevention and asset protection professionals.
The scholarships provide financial support to loss prevention professionals in the United States and Canada seeking to obtain LPQ (LPQualified) and LPC (LPCertified) certifications. Vector began awarding the scholarships five years ago to support the career development for professionals in the expanding industry.
A total of 20 scholarships, worth $18,500 for professionals in the U.S. and Canada, were awarded through the partnership.
Michael Grady, executive vice president of Vector Security, said the award winners, “possess a positive outlook as to how they will use this program to enhance the value they bring to their respective employers. We are pleased to help them advance their career aspirations.”
