Vivint partners with LifeLock

LAS VEGAS—Vivint, a leading home automation/home security provider, and LifeLock, a provider of identity theft protection services, announced a partnership at the ISC West show here that will give Vivint customers the ability to bundle their new or existing Vivint package with LifeLock's identity theft protection services.
In a prepared statement, Todd Davis, chairman and CEO of Tempe, Ariz.-based LifeLock, said, “Many of today's burglars aren't just taking the TV - they're also grabbing identification cards and documents with personally identifiable information with the intent to commit identity fraud. That's why we're so excited to give consumers some peace of mind by combining LifeLock's industry-leading identity theft protection with Vivint's innovative home security and automation technologies.”
Customers can get identity theft protection and home security with a single discounted fee, according to an April 2 news release.
“We're always looking for new ways to benefit our customers,” Todd Pedersen, CEO of Provo, Utah-based Vivint, said in a prepared statement. “And in the digital age, there's a lot more to safety than locking the front door.”
