Security upgrade in works for NYC Housing Authority

ALBANY, N.Y.—New York state will spend $42 million on security cameras and other security equipment targeted at cutting crime at New York City Housing Authority developments, according to report from The Associated Press.
The security upgrades will include interior and exterior lighting, intercoms, external doors and gunfire detection sensors, the report said.
