Honeywell introduces IP communicator for central stations

NORTHFORD, Conn.—Honeywell recently announced the availability of two new IP communicators designed to reduce monitoring and service costs for the transmission of alarm data from security alarms to central stations, according to a news release. The MIP-2 and MIP-2UD communicators connect seamlessly to a security panel's dialer ports, allowing them to report alarm information from any system that uses Contact ID protocol.
