MONTRÉAL — The lawsuit filed by Sensormatic against Genetec has ended definitively in the company's favor, with Genetec exonerated of any patent infringement and with the court awarding Genetec attorney fees.

NEW YORK—The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office granted Mobotix's request for a review of four e-Watch patents, Mobotix announced Dec. 18.
A federal court agreed to Mobotix's motion to stay litigation pending a patent review; e-Watch filed a patent-infringement case against Mobotix in San Antonio Federal Court, according to the release.

ObjectVideo issued a statement at 7:30 this morning announcing that it has dropped patent infringement charges against Samsung. The statement came two hours before an International Trade Commission trial began at 9:30 this morning.
