Krystina Stoner has been with Partner Technology for nearly five years, and currently leads the efforts in overall company strategic direction and strategic relationship development. “This includes managing everything from the client experience through our sales and installation process to curating and shaping development strategies of the organization,” she explained.

Stoner landed in the security and custom technology integration industry by accident. “With a background in Education and Operational Policy, I was asked to do some consulting with a local security and integrated technology company to help refine business systems and processes,” she explained. “That company then offered me a position as the Director of Operations, where I was responsible for the direction and coordination of all internal operations, and overseeing the management of all departments with the goal of maximizing efficiency of the organization’s work flow.

After three years in that role, including managing the acquisition of another security company, I transitioned into my current role where I work directly with clients and develop relationships with strategic partners in the space.”

She thinks we will continue to see the “expansion of the ‘smart security’ space” in the future. “I think people enjoy and value the peace-of-mind that smart security systems and remote connectivity can offer — knowing when your kids get home from school, receiving notifications from your doorbell camera when a package is delivered, and making sure your locks are locked and your system is armed while away from home,” she said.

She continued, “I am excited to see security systems and their integration with other technology being used in some new and exciting applications. While the technology is not necessarily new, seeing security systems play a major role in the smart home space is exciting.”
