BOCA RATON, Fla. - Charging that ADT Security Services breached its contract when it informed dealers in August 2002 that it was limiting the number of qualified accounts it would purchase, a New Jersey dealer has filed a class action complaint seeking unspecified damages.

LOS ANGELES -Members of the Los Angeles Police Commission are expected to vote on the city’s verified response policy at a meeting this month, after delaying action on the issue at least once before.

The proposal is being met by strong opposition from local alarm companies as well as homeowners’ groups who fear that the policy, if approved, would slow response time and spell an invitation to burglars.

Eagle finalizes funding arrangements

LEAGUE CITY, Texas -A provider of bundled digital services and security and home automation systems has secured a three-phase funding agreement to provide approximately $50 million for its digital services plan.

Eagle Broadband, based here, expects to receive the funding over the next two to four years, with the initial funding from phase two to be received by the end of the year, company officials said.
