As a senior account manager at Security 101, where he has been for 7 years, Rafael Nader assists his clients and business partners to leverage the newest technologies that will enhance security, increase revenue streams and improve operations.
“As a company, we are involved in the design, installation, implementation and maintenance of the electronic security system, working in tandem with local operations,” he said. “With almost $20 million ($19.2) in sales since 2015, my daily tasks include maintaining my existing clients while also working with my networking partners to get new business. I work with a junior sales person to assist in the day-to-day add-on installation work to support my existing client base.”
Nader said he likes to take more of a “consultative sales approach � so I focused my energies on understanding the operations for a security team and now learning more about the IT side.”
Two areas of great interest and promise for Nader are analytics software and cloud services.
“Analytics software — to recognize and investigate events — is a very hot topic,” he said. “There are so many cameras with different analytics built-into the camera and talking to the VMS of choice is very important, and I am sure will continue to trend into the future.”
He continued, “Cloud services is something that comes up often. Web based applications and phone apps for security and convenience for a mobile world will be perfected in the near future.”
