BOCA RATON, Fla.—ADT, the largest residential-security company in North America, plans to celebrate its 139th birthday with the launch of ADT Always Cares, a community-service program. The program will allow employees and their families to work with charities working with vulnerable people and to support community first responders.
On Aug. 17, to mark the launch, more than 2,000 ADT members in the United States and Canada will participate in more than 50 volunteer events for the ADT Always Cares service day.
“ADT is part of a growing number of companies implementing effective volunteer programs that benefit the community and contribute to employee retention, recruitment and team-building efforts. We applaud ADT for launching such a valuable program and wish them great success,” said Colleen Olphert, director of membership at the Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship.
