BOCA RATON, Fla.—ADT on March 26 announced a renewed partnership with HGTV to showcase the latest innovations in home automation, monitored security, energy efficiency and smart home design throughout the 2014 HGTV Smart Home Giveaway.
ADT's Pulse solution will be integrated within the 16th-century design of this year's smart home, which draws inspiration from the English cottage-style homes seen throughout the suburban neighborhoods of Nashville, where the home is located.
The 2,400-square-foot, state-of-the-art home is part of the HGTV Smart Home 2014 Giveaway. The sweepstakes for home will be available from April 15 to June 9. More information is available at www.HGTV.com/smart.
“Integrating ADT Pulse into the HGTV Smart Home provides an opportunity to showcase how ADT can help transform a house into a home where families can feel secure and in control,” said Tom Murray, vice president of residential marketing for ADT, in a prepared statement.
“This is our second HGTV Smart Home, and it's one of the most charming, beautiful homes we've ever built,” said Jack Thomasson, HGTV professional house planner, in a prepared statement. “We have incorporated automated features throughout the house including lighting, climate control, window coverings, security system, master shower, garage doors and audio/video. We also recognize that the term 'smart' encompasses 'green,' and we've gone to great lengths to maximize energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact.”
