WESTFORD, Mass.—American Dynamics, a division of Tyco's Security Products unit, has introduced its Illustra Flex Series IP cameras, according to a Dec. 10 news release.
The high-definition 1MP and 3MP cameras perform well in low-light conditions and provide a cost-effective camera option, the release said. “Balancing the requirements of superior image quality with cost considerations is a key challenge facing many security professionals in smaller businesses,” said Steve Carney, video product line director for Tyco, in a prepared statement. “Our new Illustra Flex series offers features you'd expect in premium cameras plus the absolute essentials like PoE, H.264 compression and integrated mounts to keep installation and storage costs down.”
Illustra Flex box, bullet and mini-dome cameras include 3D dynamic noise reduction, varifocal lenses and triple video streaming, according to the release.
