AvantGuard team runs for childhood cancer awareness

OGDEN, Utah—A team of 100 AvantGuard employees and family members ran and walked a 5K to raise money in support of Griffin Shaw, a two-year-old boy suffering from cancer, the company announced Nov. 5.
Josh Garner, AvantGuard CEO, learned about Griffin's story and decided to donate all proceeds from the 5K to Team Griffin, to help the Shaw family and raise awareness of childhood cancers, according to the news release.
Griffin and his family met the runners and walkers at the end of the race.
