Avigilon announces global expansion of sales team

VANCOUVER, B.C.—Avigilon, a provider of HD and megapixel video surveillance systems, on Dec. 6 announced it had promoted key executives within the organization and hired three new sales executives.
The company's top global sales performer in 2008 and 2009, Bryan Schmode has been promoted to vice president of sales for the Americas and Asia Pacific, responsible for heading up Avigilon's business operations.
A top sales performer at Avigilon for the past three years, Brian Giampaoli has been promoted to senior sales director for the Eastern United States.
Bryan Terrell has been appointed to the newly created position of regional sales director for the South Central United States.
Gary Thomas will take on the role of regional sales director for the Pacific Northwest.
Kaj Långström has been appointed the regional sales director for the Nordic countries and the Baltics, responsible for driving sales and supporting Avigilon customers and partners in the region.
