CHELMSFORD, Mass—Great Place to Work Institute has named Axis Communications one of its 2015 50 best small and medium workplaces in the United States. The annual list of Best Small & Medium Workplaces was published in Fortune magazine.
Ranked at 17, this is the second consecutive year Axis has been honored, according to a prepared statement. For more than a decade, the list recognizes companies with “exceptional workplace cultures,” Great Place to Work says.
Ratings were based on employee surveys and questions about benefits and company practices, Great Place to Work said in its statement. Ratings are based on “credibility, respect, fairness, pride and camaraderie,” it said.
Axis is also “Great Rated” by the Great Place to Work Institute. According to an employee survey conducted in 2015, 94 percent of employees say their workplace is great, while 99 percent take great pride in working at Axis.
“Our success as a company is a direct result of our core values and the employees who embrace them,” Fredrik Nilsson, general manager, Axis Communications, said in the statement.
“Recognition as a Great Place to Work for the second year in a row speaks to the efforts we make throughout all levels of the organization to maintain our culture of innovation, collaboration and entrepreneurism even as we grow. Having a workforce strongly invested in our brand beliefs positively influences how our partners and end customers perceive and interact with us, strengthening our position as leaders in our industry and as a business,” Nilsson said.
