Cyemptive Technologies continues European expansion

SEATTLE – Cyemptive Technologies has announced its expansion into the French, Belgium and Italian markets, which included naming former Hitachi Vice President and international business executive Jean-Luc Cervera as its business development senior consultant for the region.

Cervera’s appointment is the second major move the company has made to expand its European operations in recent weeks, and the third to expand its overall international operations.  In August, the company announced its expansion into the United Kingdom and Germany with the appointment of Johannes Riedl as Vice President of Cyber Solutions Europe, and in September its expansion into the Middle East and the Americas with the appointment of Varun Vaid as Vice President of Cyber Solutions - strategic accounts.

“Jean-Luc Cervera’s experience in winning business model strategies and complex solution sales, including enhancing performance and profitability through innovative business models, will greatly benefit Cyemptive as it scales up its operations in the European market,” said Rob Pike, Cyemptive’s founder and CEO.

An international expert in solutions sales with more than 35 years of experience, Cervera will be responsible for assisting Cyemptive as it enters these markets.  His initial focus will be on the insurance, healthcare and industrial sectors. Cervera spent nine years at Hitachi Data Systems, where he served as Vice President, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Compute Platform and Converged Solutions Sales.  He is also a founding partner of JLC Consulting, and holds a Master of Science from Aix-Marseille University.
