DVTEL releases thermal camera

RIDGEFIELD PARK, N.J.—IP video surveillance solutions provider DVTEL has released its ioimage Thermal line of intelligent thermal cameras, the first offered by the company, according to a Feb. 3 news release.
Relying on an infrared detector, the camera and associated video analytics software are designed for low- and no-light environments and offer advanced analytics customers can use to reduce false alarms, according to the statement.
“The ioimage Thermal camera line introduces a new option for customers requiring detection in practically any environment,” said Yoav Stern, DVTEL president and CEO, in a prepared statement. “It delivers reliable surveillance coverage in new and existing surveillance systems at a favorable price point for a variety of applications.”
The cameras are available as fixed or pan-tilt and come with multiple lens options, according to the statement. Powered by DRS Technologies, the ioimage line integrates with existing systems and is compatible with the DVTEL IP-based portfolio.
