DUBAI, United Arab Emirates – The Legislative Assembly of El Salvador has successfully implemented the biometric system Id-Guard, developed by RecFaces.
The entrance to the building is now controlled by Id-Guard, which identifies visitors by face. Id-Guard is a state-of-the-art biometric software designed by RecFaces that instantly detects a person in video streams and compares the data with the archives in less than 10 seconds. Id-Guard responds to threats in real time and sends notifications about special events or violations to the operator.
This is not the first time that government entities have installed Id-Guard, according to RecFaces. More than a year ago, the company implemented the system for Saudi Arabia. “Government entities choose ready-made software products specifically due to its ease of implementation and use, security and absence of failures. This is especially applied to innovative areas related to security and software for working with personal data, such as facial biometrics,” said Maria Kazhuro, business development manager in LATAM, RecFaces.
Id-Guard is a boxed solution which is installed on a ready-made video surveillance system. The installation process takes minutes, while implementation takes a few days, and the software is configured remotely. In addition to installing the software, RecFaces has provided online training for employees of the integrator company NordicTech in the training center.
