SSN: In 100 words or less, summarize your current role, outlining responsibilities and length of service.

PETITBON: Upon college graduation, I joined Petitbon Alarm as the president of business development in 2020. I participate in the execution and management of the sales department and oversee general business operations and staff. My primary role is to continuously develop our client acquisition and satisfaction strategies by staying abreast of the latest products, determining and practicing how to market to prospective clients in an effective, positive way, and ensuring satisfaction after the sale and for the duration of the customer relationship. I also consult with the sales department and admin staff on monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals to set the department, and therefore the company, up for success.

SSN: In 100 words or less, share what attracts you to the security industry as a young leader.

PETITBON: I was originally attracted to the security industry because I am a second-generation security professional in our family business. Growing up, I watched my dad grow the business through the years, and I saw the satisfaction that it gave him to help families and businesses feel more secure through the services his company was providing. I now enjoy that same feeling that we are truly doing something important, as well as enjoying the technology and the interesting challenges that I get to encounter in my position.

PETITBON: I'm honored to have been selected as an SSN Emerging Leader Under 40 winner! It's a goal of mine to inspire and share ideas with other young professionals in the industry to make us collectively better and offer support to one another. It's always humbling to be recognized for your work and your leadership, and it makes me proud to share my win with my dad, who has worked hard to build our company and raise me as a man worth considering for the honor.
