NORTHFORD, Conn.—Fire-Lite Alarms by Honeywell today announced its schedule for fire alarm trainings to be held in more than 50 cities across the U.S. throughout 2013, according to a company statement.
“Course attendance for the last year has hit an all-time high,” Tom Rosa, Fire-Lite Alarms training supervisor, said in the statement. “I think it has to do with the growing demand in the market for a truly non-proprietary fire system, along with personal, classroom instruction with hands-on training that makes these courses so popular.”
Starting in January, the two-day Fire-Lite Systems course will include instruction on the latest fire alarm and emergency communications systems to be introduced in 2013. Attendees of this basic course will earn 1.6 Continuing Education Units (CEUs), while a more advanced, one-day Fire-Lite course qualifies participants for 0.7 CEUs. Fire-Lite Alarms also recently rolled out a series of online training modules, each worth 0.1 CEUs. The online training modules are shorter and focus on specific topics not covered in the hands-on sessions.
Fire-Lite Alarms' 2013 training schedule, including course descriptions, dates and locations, is available at www.firelite.com.
