What's the latest movie you watched that you enjoyed?
I watched “Lone Survivor,” the story of four Navy Seals up in the mountains of Afghanistan [who were on a mission to find Taliban leader Ahmad Shah in 2005.] I read the book, and I saw the movie. I'm a big fan of the Special Ops and the Special Forces.
What are your hobbies?
In the summertime I like going to the lake. I like watersports, waterskiing and kneeboarding. In the winter I like snow skiing out in Colorado and also getting out of the cold—my wife and I love Key Largo for winter trips.
What do you like about where you live?
We love St. Louis and its different areas; one of our favorites is the Central West End. There's so much to do here. It's a diverse city, there's always something going on.
What's something about you that your coworkers might not yet know?
That, actually, outside of work, I like to have fun.
What's your best piece of advice to newcomers in the security field?
To always continue learning about the new technology and new products. In our industry, the technology changes so rapidly. In order to be competitive we have to stay at the forefront.
