BOCA RATON, Fla.—American rapper Flo Rida has been sued by ADT on the grounds that he allegedly failed to settle a bill for an alarm system at his Florida home, according to multiple reports.
ADT executives allege their operatives installed a state-of-the-art security system at the rapper's Miami mansion in 2009 and received an initial deposit of $19,366. ADT claims he did not pay the remaining balance of $38,733. ADT's lawsuit demands payment plus interest amounting to $47,134. Flo Rida claims a former manager signed the contract, and that he never authorized it.
