OMAHA, Neb.—Systems integrator G4S Technology has made some organizational changes in its executive team that it says are strategic to its growth.
G4S has appointed Sam Belbina company president, Ed Pedersen senior vice president of sales and marketing and Bob Sommerfeld chairman of the board, G4S announced this week.
The moves support initiatives such as a National Services program and a layered approach offering communications, security technology, manpower, guarding, services and maintenance, according to the Dec. 2 news release.
“I am pleased to announce these key organizational changes,” said Keith Whitelock, CEO of G4S Technology Holdings, in a prepared statement. “We believe Mr. Belbina and Mr. Pedersen's impressive industry experience and strong leadership skills, and Mr. Sommerfeld's long history of leadership within G4S Technology will be a winning combination that will position the company for future growth and success.”
Belbina became executive VP in February, after working at Schneider Electric and TAC Americas. Belbina will oversee strategic initiatives and operations, while working toward increased revenue and organic growth, according to the release.
Belbina's predecessor was Sommerfeld. Now, as board chairman, Sommerfeld is responsible for legal, health and safety, according to the release.
Pedersen, now responsible for growing communications and security sales, maximizing revenue and leading customer care, was previously a manager at Stanley Security Solutions, ADS Security and SecurityLink by Ameritech.
